This is from an axe I picked up on the way back from my last visit to coast. True Temper "Flint Edge" Kelly Works marked USA. I say Flint Edge just because the space between the True Temper and Kelly Works marks has remnants of lettering it looks like other Flint Edges that I have come across that are marked USA. Further cleaning might bring it out.
It is pitted but evenly so. The SA of the USA, the straight lines of the True Temper, and Kelly Works can be made out as far as makers mark. I only removed the cracked handle and scrubbed it with CLP and a plastic-bristled brush.
Weighs 3lbs 7 and 1/4oz. I am assuming it was 3.5# originally. Base for a great user.
My garage to yours. SOLD
