Are you driving or flying? On the other side of the state, just over the state line from Gallup is Dave Yellowhorse's place. It's a long way from Tucson, but it might be on the way for you.

bout same distance to Vegas as Yellowhorse from Tucson.......id rather drive to Yellowhorse though.

Trapper John's down in Sierra Vista was great, it is still there but haven't been by in many years. Worth a stop if you get down that way.

I’ve been to AZ twice, the desert is beautiful no matter what. I was there in the summer both times. I was amazed by little splashes of color, it must be awesome in full bloom.
