I have noticed that Michale Zieba offers a tumbled finish on some of his kitchen knives. How do you get a fine tumbled finish say on AEB-L that does not look like you ran over the blade with your jeep?:D

You say "Look at this kitchen knife it's so tough it can survive being run over by a Jeep! Here watch me cut up a meat boot." :p

There have been several discussions of tumbled finishes over the years which are probably in the archives. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to find anything in the archives. Maybe someone will chime in with some help.

I would think bead blasting would be easier and look quite similar.

Sell the Jeep.

If you bead-blast your blade it will look dull gray. A tumbled finish is completely different.
