Up for grabs are two forged tomahawks. These were forged from 12 oz ball peen hammers. Heat treated in a kiln at 1500 into 10 second oil, then tempered at 450. The eyes are drifted to accept a larger square head rather than the original small ovals from the ball peens. Heads are attached with wedges, like a modern hammer. Handles are hickory. Overall weight is around 15.5 oz.

The spike hawk measures 6 1/4" from the tip of the spike to the edge of the blade. Blade is 2 3/8" from corner to corner. Handle is 12 1/2 inches. The hammer poll is 5" from the hammer face to the edge of the blade. Blade is 2 1/4" corner to corner. Handle is 13 1/8".
$140 each.
