I do a lot of metal detecting and come across knives now and then. Most are oldies rusted beyond redemption. But a few survive due to their composition, or how long they were in the elements. I am posting this one up as it took me a minute to process it's strangeness and figure out it's purpose. A grafting knife ! It didn't take much to clean off the surface rust, wipe it off, and oil it up. It still looks foreign to me at a quick glance !

That is really cool. It looks pretty stainless. I saw rust at the nail nick which
makes sense since the oils and salts from the skin would really help corrosion.
Thanks for posting this! Neat find.

It's a Victorinox Budding/Grafting knife
