Another garage sale, another learning opportunity.
Collins Commander made in Lewistown, Pa USA!!!!!
The shape was so awkward. I only snapped a picture of an eye. I was not willing to waste 15 bucks.
I was hoping I could spot MEXICO or M 3 1/2 stamps. Unfortunately, it had two labels: barcode one and blue/golden Commander sticker.

edit
It did not have phantom bevels but eye looks similar... INDIA

This axe felt so cr...py that I was sure it was made in Mexico. Once I started searching for more info online, I found worthpoint listing with similar axe indicating there was India stamp. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/vintage-collins-commander-single-bit-1807006595

I asked the owner if he remembered the year it was bought, but it belonged to his father and he had no additional info.
