Vesuvius - Reversible Clip???? QQ - Sal

Hello Sal,

I just received 2 collector version Vesuvius. One is part serrated and one plain edge. I attempted to reverse the clip on the plain edge version to convert it to tip down carry. When I did so, it caused the blade to rub against the butt of the screws.

Am I doing something wrong??? I used the original screws. Do I need different screws?? Is there a problem with the version that I have???

Please advise.

We had the same problem and we reported it to Michelle at Spyderco earlier this week.

We have not heard back regards the status, a fix or ??

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with Customer service about it. I was told that they believe one of the clip mounting screws is too long. They had the problem on the Lum Chinese folder as well. I was told they are going to get out some new screws to me since I have 2 collector versions.
