This is not strictly a SAK question, but does anybody know about a fixed blade hunting knife made by Victorinox? It is marked (in a black etched or similar marking) "Hunter Victorinox". There is no made in Switzerland marking. It has a brown leather sheath with black plastic handles held on by two rivets. The crossguard and butt are a shiny chrome finish. The handle has a contour with finger grooves. The blade is not highly polished, looks more like a dull carbon steel than a stainless. I guess the total length is around 13 - 14 inches or so. Can anybody give me any information plus what a fair price would be? TIA :)

Paul, Thanks for the reply. I looked at that knife on your link, but it is a current production folding hunter SAK style. The knife I am looking at is a fixed blade hunting knife. My main concern is whether it is a real Victorinox or some kind of ripoff. I have never seen one like it before, nor seen such mentioned in any Victorinox SAK forums. Anybody own or even seen one of these before?

Ooops, my mistake. Once you're in the sport knives listings, click on "Scout Knives". You'll find it there.

Paul
