I don't know if this'll be of any interest to anyone but me, but I just ran across a full online version of Burton's selective translation of "Vikram and the Vampire" (Sanskrit Vetalapancavimsati, Hindi Baital-Pachisi). I have the book already, but know that it's not in wide circulation.
Basically, it's about King Vikram and his son who together capture a vampire-like creature, which forms a frame for moralizing fables about Indian manners and customs.
