What a Christmas gift.

A collector/friend of mine, living in Texas, purchased this set of knives from me in 2006 or 08, I don't remember exactly. He had Sandy Morrissey make the beautiful sheaths.
After ten years:
They arrived on Christmas this year, from Texas, with a note, saying : I've had
these for ten years and have enjoyed having them in my collection. I know you care for them as I do, so I've decided to return them to you for your enjoyment.

I often find damascus gives a knife a busy look that I'm not fond of. Absolutely not the case on those beauties. Very cool gift and dead gorgeous blades.
