What are the best insoles to use while standing on concrete for long hours?

I know that the people seeking advice are long gone, but for future reference check out Shoes For Crews. I used to manage a big box store and would work 70+ hours a week on my feet on concrete. I had all kinds of foot problems from this. I did some research into what other people wore and found that restaurant workers worked under similar conditions and many of them were recommending Shoes For Crews. I gave them a try and they solved all my problems. I could work 18 hour days and my feet would feel fine afterwards. As a bonus, the soles are designed to be nonslip on greasy kitchen floors, so you get very sturdy footing wearing these shoes. They're relatively cheap and last a good while. When I was working those long hours a pair would last me about 6 months, so around 2,000 hours of work per pair of shoes. If you're pulling a normal 40 hour a week job you could probably get a good year out of a pair. Not bad for shoes that run around $50 - $60.

I have Dr. Scholl’s Massaging Gel Work Insoles . Definitely it is one of the best Insoles on the market . Dr. Scholl’s has always been a brand name associated with inserts; therefore, it’s a name brand that offers a reputable product such as the Massaging Gel Work Insoles. These inserts are constructed with a gel platform that cushions and support your feet, plus reduces the aches and pains associated with tired feet. In addition, depending on the support you require, the gel comes in a variety of thickness; the firmer the gel, the more support. Plus, because of the inclusive gel in the inserts, they also provide a massaging quality, and for those who are subjected to hard surfaces for lengthy periods of time, this can be an added benefit. Furthermore, they are tough enough to withstand a hard working man’s lifestyle.

Soul Insoles hands down are the best. I've tried practically everything, these ones are the most supportive and fit the best in my shoes.

I've spent many years standing on concrete floors as a prototype machinist. I would rule out any shoe that doesn't have a heel. You'll find that after being on your feet for many hours, they can cause your lower back to tighten up a bit, especially if you mostly stand in one place.

I've never liked insoles as they never seen to fit my shoes or boots very well. You can trim them, but it's still not the same. I've had very good luck with Redwing boots over the years.

Socks are just as important, I like the ones made by Dr. Scholls. Avoid cotton at all cost. Remember, shoes that are comfortable for walking or running, may not feel good after you're on your feet for twelve hours on concrete.

Quality boots and wool socks have always served me better than insoles whether it's in the army or 100 hour weeks at Taco Bell.
