What EDC folder knife under 150$

I just picked up a like new magnacut pm2 salt from the sales forum here on bladeforums for $185..plus no shipping or taxes to pay on top of that. Don’t be afraid to offer lower than they’re asking, especially if the blades been for sale more than a couple days. If you’re not in a huge rush, I’d definitely recommend hanging around the sales forum for a while to see what pops up. I found mine with the search function as it was an older thread that had been hurried back some couple few pages. For that price range, I’m gonna recommend a spyderco as I’m kinda a fanboy..but a bugout would be cheaper if that’s your thing. There are also nice but affordable Chinese knives now days..but I am still a sucker for a nice American made tool.
I did similar to get my salt PM2, it was a great companion this last weekend camping at the lake. Made quick work of cutting small branches and carving them into s'mores skewers among other tasks.

There are so many great options for this price!
I'd say that there are "too many" options to list under $150.

Just let your fingers do the walking on the Net to find the 1 the you like best. 🤷

Spyderco Delica , A favorite carry of mine.

I have "a few" folders, but I've been carrying this Buck 112 Slim for the last couple months. It's not made with the latest materials, or the super steel of the week, but it's under $40, lightweight, made in the USA, has a lifetime warranty, and it cuts stuff.
Great knife, and light enough to go in my pocket despite its size. I ditched the pocket clip as soon as I got it.

My answer to this question is always Spyderco Endura or Paramilitary 2, which you can get in Cruwear if you'd prefer a tool steel over stainless.

You could also try an Opinel or a Svord.

Lots of great options.. I've been enjoying the crjb frack lately. It's only $70 and it has great action on a button lock

For that price, I would recommend an Endura in K390. An excellent cutting blade shape in an awesome steel. You can’t get much better than this for a blade that you will use everyday.

We could have ended the thread right here.
My Endura in k390 has been a fine work knife, largely due to the steel.

I’ll be picking up another knife with this steel. Just not sure what pattern yet.

Can't go wrong with all of the Spydercos mentioned - Delica, LeafJumper, Endura, Stretch 2, Stretch 2 XL (my favorite from the bunch).

A few mentions for Cold Steel - I love the Air Lite. It doesn't seem to get much of a mention from the Cold Steel crowd, but it's a fantastic cheap, light, ergonomic folder that for its size carries extremely well and locks like a vault. The Spidies will really win on cutting performance, though...just depends what you're looking for.

My most carried these days is one of my spydercos in K390 (usually the Endella or stretch 2).
