Going through past threads, it is not clear to me how often or when DEK3 knives are offered for sale. The past few Friday sales events haven't yielded much but, my time searching through old threads is a bit limited right now.
Preproduction, it looks the base model was $375 plus options. I saw some comments about it being hard to produce so, I expect production numbers to be pretty low. The DEK "hangout" thread though has me convinced I need to keep an eye out for one of these to replace a knife I waited on for 2 1/2 years that was stolen out of my mailbox (substitute mail carrier left it on the road sticking out of my mailbox as opposed to leaving a note to get it from the Post Office or leaving it on my porch - hope the thief bleeds a lot and is left with scars).
