I have some M7s including a Colt.I started out with 20th century US bayonets. Then I started adding 19th Century US bayonets and non-US 20th Century bayonets. Obviously, at only 294 bayonets, I don't have all of the possibilities. Still missing a Colt M7 West German made bayonet, several early 1800s US socket bayonets and lots of foreign bayonets.
Thanks for the welcome... "Morbid Bay"/"Morbid Rock." Just kidding! I couldn't resist a little Central Coast colloquialism...Over the last 30 years, my collecting has gone from having a helluva lot of knives to just keeping the best of the bunch. And sorry, but I no longer show any of the current collection, other than to say there are now less than 30, half of which are daggers by BW............
Oh, welcome to Blade Forums. My avatar image was taken from my balcony. I imagine you will recognize the location...
Really? Did you grow up here?Funny, I have never heard it called that.
Me too. I think it's fascinating how different knives develop within different societies. It's also interesting how some knife types survive, and some are lost to history.I have a lot of knives, mostly western traditional style blades, some new, some very old. Lately though I've been more and more interested in the blades of different ethnic cultures from around the world. The Finnish puukko , the Sardinian resolza, the Bavarian jagdnicker, the khukri, the higonokami, the navaja, etc.
Microtech SOCOM Elite auto, looks like a drop point bladeWhat knife is this?
