This is my grail knife. It's a rather inexpensive custom, but it carry a dream from its maker, which has my respect it and consider this is my grail.

You should be proud of this knife. Its not easy to make such a big blade by hand on belts and keep the lines relatively straight and parallel. You succeded where another maker with quite a few more years of experience failed.Nice, I like the patina finish you did on that, and glad to see you were able to get those bolsters chamfered out nicely. Hope you get some good work out of it!
I appreciate that feedback! I never heard of that Caswell stuff before, but will have to keep it in mind. Glad you're happy with the knife, and let me know if you ever need anything! You should be proud of this knife. Bit better pictures. The stainless bolsters provide a nice third contrast with the tang steel and elk grips. The Caswells solution will tone bright freshly polished stainless down a little and make it look like it has had a decade or so to mellow. If youve ever tried to polish a scratch out of an older stainless knife you know what I mean.
The knifes so big my crappy cell phone camera makes it look curved.

I've owned 4 Randle knives and they all have been winners. Great blades. One was a simple stainless knife and the other three were the Alaskan Drop points. They honed well and stayed sharp. Great knives.I got it decades ago. Randall #1

I should add that I don't own any of the grails on my list. Just pics of them.Just joined the knife community over the summer and I can spend all day reading posts and looking at pics of awesome knives. At this stage in my journey, I've only purchased production knives. I have a few grails with the Rockstead Higo at the top. But know as I get into the world of customs that could change quickly.
