Blown away by the Stretch 2 XL. Wow.![]()
Yessir top one is the Cruwear micarta Military 2. Spydercos are hard to beat.Is that micarta scales on the top one? Either way I dig the look!
I love my Para 3, it's a tank of a knife. I had a Manix 2 but that thing was just so chonky, I wanted something smaller but still with steel liners and G10 scales. The compression lock is just so nice to use one-handed too. Overall one of my favorites. I also love the Delica in VG10 for a cheap and easy to maintain beater, or a Dragonfly when size/weight is a concern.
That's Otto, he runs the place when I'm busyEvery time I see your posts it reminds me of the Simpson’s. I just noticed the drinking bird for the first time and I lost it. You made my day.

Holy crap man. 500-1000 calorie deficit per day will be 1-2 pounds per week lost (not to be done on a long term either).. About the healthy limit from my understanding (500 that is, 1000 deficit is excessive as well). Many will lose much more weight at the beginning depending on water weight and other factors. 500 calories total will definitely have bad effects. Especially in energy, sleep and cognitive functionsBeen on a 500 (ish) calorie a day diet since 4-4, and it doesn’t leave room for much. So whatever I am carrying gets a lot of veg work.

Yeah, that’s quite a drastic restriction.Yikes! That is a severe diet.
I am no doctor or nutritionist so I won’t comment on that side of it, but I respect the discipline and dedication. And, nice looking 940 conversion. Thanks for the encouragement and concerns, I was really just just showing off my veggie cutting skills with my cool REK Osborne
I won't get into much detail here but I hit a wall in any weight loss plans since I turned 50 four years ago. Perpetual dieting and eating right led to nothing, culminating in three months of Semiglutide and a 1500 calorie a day low carb diet that yielded 3 pounds of loss. As fate has it I am one of the ~12% of people Semiglutide does nothing for
I have been big my entire life, so my body is built for it and full panel blood work puts me dead smack in the middle or on the very good side with every measurement, and I have no current health concerns. As I age carrying the excess weight is my biggest health risk. I currently eat a well balanced diet of fresh vegetables, bone broth, whey proteins, nuts/seeds, beans/lentils, eggs and lean cheeses, along with some occasional fruit. Mainly looking to slow down digestion and increase metabolism. My goal was to replicate gastric bypass without the surgery. I started this on 4-4 and am just over 45 pounds lost, but I have a ways to go. As time moves on I will adjust calories upward as needed and I continue to have regular health exams.
Thanks again!
