It's a fine dirk.
That thing really doesn't seem to know what it wants to be. Even has a kaudi/nathri notch.

Yes. My only Carothers was a HDFK I foolishly sold it a few years ago. I want another one or a similar blade type badly.Bigger knives!!!!
Bring back the sdfk or hdfk
Bring back the choppers! Everyone wants one now, you wouldnt be able to keep them in stock!
Wouldn't that make it the Small DEK?Take a DEK1. Reduce the CAD file down to 80-85%. Skeletonize the handle area with a series of chamfered holes. No scales. Taco kydex. Bob's your uncle! We all get neck knives! (Call it the Neck DEK)
+1 for HDFK.Yes. My only Carothers was a HDFK I foolishly sold it a few years ago. I want another one or a similar blade type badly.
Small can do what big does it just needs to take it's time. If it finished too quickly it might leave the medium uncut and the job not finished satisfactorily.
Just saying.
Uhhh... without those, they wouldn't be butterfly swords. There are techniques that are dependent on those features.A Chinese butterfly sword with no "D" guard or rear hook guard!
I know....it would essentially be a straight back chopper.... but I was trying to doll it up and make it sound more interesting as a joke (which flopped), but also b/c I think the only chopper on the horizon is the light medium chopper.Uhhh... without those, they wouldn't be butterfly swords. I'm in based on "insinuates" alone!!!Okay sitting here thinking.....
13" comp chopper seax/modified sheepsfoot blade
Quick idea picture with a sharpie on a paper towel (it's tough to make corrections on a paper towel lol)

and call it the "casting couch"
.... I know my picture is bad and insinuates something else but I'm sure some one can see what I'm trying to say lol
