What knife would you like to see next from CPK?

Speaking as a 2/3rds sized person this sounds great
you and I are in the same body size cohort, sounds like👍

I've worked in the bicycle industry for several decades now- an industry fundamentally tuned to the field of ergonomics, where organic interface is crucial to making the most of the technology. I've learned that sizing and scaling of objects is super important. Because I'm smaller, dimensionally, than the average I've had to modify things to be able to use them efficiently. That's another reason I'm so obsessed with how things and humans fit together.

it makes sense to me that people of different physical dimensions are best served by things designed to fit them well, scaled to their size.
This is all I've been asking for in a "neck knife." Perhaps offer a kydex option for an upcharge to also carry without scales.
what I have in mind could be carried that way, sans scales, although it would be on the larger side than what I think is practical.
Yes. I’ve been thinking the same. DEK1 & 2
I've been working on this design for a couple years. There are some spatial points of the DEK overall layout that are important to the way it functions, that I wanted to tighten up for a more compact silhouette, which would serve general edc uses while being minimally intrusive.

It's kind of a cross between the EDC and DEK. I have two cut out- one fat the other skinny- which I need to finish up and send to NC for evaluation some day.

In?

Too early??

🤩 sounds amazing!

Yeah this sounds awesome. I love the ergonomics of the DEK1, but a skinny, scaled down version would fit me really well. I'll be fascinated to see how you keep the important spacial points in the layout while scaling down.
