I love MT's and yep I'm a Leatherman fan boy and appreciate the newer Leatherman's and absolutely appreciate their ease of use and refinement but still find myself carrying this most days. Like my knife preference it's bound to change. Maybe it's hard to break away from due to all the years I've had it 🤔

I needed to install a new battery in my wife's car remote control, and, though I knew I could have gotten it open with a dime, I didn't want to put my arthritic fingers through that trauma. So...I reached for the LM Surge that is ever present in a pouch over my right hip. Much to my dismay, I realized I had left it in the basement after my last project. Next, I went for the LM Wave that had been clipped to my left front pocket, only to find that I had forgotten that I had swapped it for a LM Charge ALX just yesterday. Now any other version of the LM Charge would have worked just fine for the job at hand, but some genius decided that the ..X models should have two large bit exchangers and NO large screwdriver/pry bar. They never asked for my vote on that decision; I can't remember a time that I ever had need for two bit exchangers! Fortunately four feet away from where I was standing was the aforementioned Wave, with which I easily got the job done.

Good job mate. I hear you I let my Alx go, as I preferred my wave.😊
