The peanut is a fine choice of an edc pocket knife for modern suburbaan lifestyles. Avaiable in a wide choice of nice handles and either CV or stainless, it will do mot of what you need.

There are some here who would say I have a very slight bias toward the peanut. Of course, I'll take the 5th on that!;)

Pssst, You can get a real nice chestnut bone and CV from Shepard hills.

yeah i read your thread on how you learned to like the peanut and thats what really turned me on to it.

You all are dangerous, I just got my first Case cv in the mail today, and I blame it on you guys.

I just got in the mail today........my Tony Bose design CV 7007 swayback jack in chestnut jigged bone. I really dig wharncliffe blades (it was an acquired taste) at first I could not understand why anyone would stray from a clip blade, but now I am enlightened. Anyways, pardon the ADDHD, the fit and finish on this is wonderful! It fits in the watch pocket of my jeans, so as Jacknife says, suburbia knife. It snaps great, it is nicely sharp. I was really impressed how well the fit is on the spine to spring when knife is open. They really have amped up the quality. It puts my precious 70's dots to shame....It was more than reasonably priced, and I am in love with CV. OK, I am a basket case....

Peanut is a great choice. Might as well start thinking on you second and so on. I would recomend my favorites.

Sorry. I got carried away. I just love posting pictures of knives.

And looking at pictures of knives too.

you should try a used kersha blur, its strong, durable, and concealable. i myself use it as a carry knife.

I've owned a lot of Copperheads but have never seen one like the bottom picture before.
The red bone above it is aging nicely
