What size rivets for kydex?

What size rivets are usually used on kydex sheaths? I need some but don't know if I should get 3/16" or 1/4".

Will a tek-lok fit on either size?

I would get both, but I can't afford both sizes and flaring tools for them both.

I use 1/4" on both .060" and .080" Kydex. for 95% of sheaths I do this works fine. the 3/16" would only be if you wanted more on the sheath or maybe for really small sheaths. And yes, the TekLoks fit on both sizes.

Assume you are talking hole diameter as opposed to eyelet length. Only the 1/4 size (designated #8 here in the US) eyelet will work with the posts for attaching the TekLoks. 3/16 diameter has the #6 designation. Sample eyelet sizes are, for instance, 6-08, 6-10, 8-08, 8-10 where the first number refers to the diameter and the following number refers to the length.

Thanks for the help guys, looks like I'll be getting 1/4" (hole size).
