What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I hope everything is going well health wise! That dinner sounds scrumptious.
Thank you for the kind wish. I can't say things are going well, but things are happening and some progress has been made. I've been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The idiopathic part just means the cause is unknown. Its progressive and there is no cure. I started on a drug two weeks ago which will hopefully slow the progression. I'm seeing a rheumatologist who is investigating a possible auto-immune connection. If a cause can be determined, it may be treatable. The fibrosis has apparently been going on for some time now. My bout with pneumonia last fall caused an acute exacerbation where it got a lot worse all at once. At this point, the best outcome is the drug will slow the progression down enough that I will live long enough for something else to kill me 😜 Something gets us all eventually ;)
Regardless, I've got a few years left 🥳 🤞
In one of life's little ironies this is a lung disease that wasn't caused by my past history of smoking.

Probably more than you wanted to know :)

To avoid further thread hijack. today's carry thus far:

I pray that the drug works and that the specialist figures out a good treatment plan.

My 13 1/2 yr old boy dog experienced a Mexican stand off competition with the next door neighbor today

Haven't posted in a while, it's been a busy week... Apparently I've missed a lot in these past couple of days... Wow there's a lot to catch up on...

Mike mbkr mbkr , I'm sorry to hear about the health issues you are dealing with. Sending smoke & prayers your way. I hope you can find some relief.

On to some knife content, here's a Stag handled Bowie my dad picked up on a motorcycle trip in the Smokey Mountains that are in the Carolinas & Tennessee area over 40 years ago (late 1970's?) Before I came along in the 80's 🤣

He doesn't remember who the maker was or the type of steel it is. I do need to get a sheath made for it, it currently doesn't have one.

S&M Teardrop HJ "Pickle" is in pocket for today.

Take care & have a great weekend y'all!

Thank you guys. I appreciate your thoughts, prayers, smoke, more than I can say 😍

It's just something that has to be dealt with as well as possible. On the upside, I've pretty much quit worrying about prostate cancer or dementia :D
Considering how much trouble I had spelling "dementia", it may be premature to rule that one out :p

I've screwed up this multiple quote post multiple times, so If I missed anybody, sorry, it wasn't intentional. It was incompetence :)
