For what it is worth, I think you can still get that combo with black delrin, CS, and a punch. I am not sure if it is a distributor exclusive or not from a hill named big distributor, but you may be able to snag it there.Idk which I like best out of that group!!!
Case really needs to bring back the punch on the Stockman series!
Is that the shrouded hammer model? If so I have always wanted one of those.![]()

Road signs are in miles as are our speedos,we fill up in litres but talk about MPG (I haven’t a clue in litres).
We measure wood in inches then go and buy it in metric units, thank goodness beer is still sold in pints…
We drive on the left which is the right side.![]()

44 years ago was a Saturday. That's the day I married a fine young woman. I chose well. We rented a banquet hall, or was it her Dad who paid for it? Can't remember.
This was before the unfortunate demise of live wedding bands in favor of deejays. We won a free cake and photo package at a "wedding show" I'd been dragged to, so we had extra $ to hire a good band.
So we hired a really good jazz wedding band.
The first time we met, I was playing fiddle tunes on my guitar on the front porch swing of our rented house just off campus in Urbana Illinois. She and her friend Ruth were walking by, and stopped, then came up to talk. Never forgot that she commented that I was not playing in time with the creaking of the swing.
To this day, she is my sounding board on my playing abilities, such that they are, and has been there every time I have played for an audience ~ 30 years +/- . It's usually, but not always a good review, but I always listen to her after gig comments.
It's a good thing that she appreciates knives and guitars, or she might not have worked out.

Those Dia-Sharps are excellent.
Thank you for the kind wish. I can't say things are going well, but things are happening and some progress has been made. I've been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The idiopathic part just means the cause is unknown. Its progressive and there is no cure. I started on a drug two weeks ago which will hopefully slow the progression. I'm seeing a rheumatologist who is investigating a possible auto-immune connection. If a cause can be determined, it may be treatable. The fibrosis has apparently been going on for some time now. My bout with pneumonia last fall caused an acute exacerbation where it got a lot worse all at once. At this point, the best outcome is the drug will slow the progression down enough that I will live long enough for something else to kill meSomething gets us all eventually
Regardless, I've got a few years left![]()
In one of life's little ironies this is a lung disease that wasn't caused by my past history of smoking.
Probably more than you wanted to know

I wish Case would bring this pattern back so badGot up really late this morning - 0945. Feels like a lazy day ahead. Skipping breakfast for lunch later. Coffee will have to do until then. This Swell End, Capped Jack will be my carry for the day.
