What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

One of our road trip tradtions has become seeking out good bbq joints. Today we found Mission BBQ in Clarksville Tennessee. Right by Fort Campbell where our nephew, a career Sgt with two tours in A'stan under his belt is stationed. Unfortunately, duty called, and he was not able to visit.
I was not prepared for the inspiring and gut wrenching memorial displays inside the restaurant. I went in the Men's latrine and bawled like a baby.

God bless those who gave it all.

The brisket was very good.

They keep an honorary table set for the fallen and MIA.

Jeff, thanks for the touching post ! Hopefully everyone can keep in mind the reason for this holiday. IMG_3546.jpegHere’s a couple of American favorites! IMG_8402.jpegLance

Did you get the pen blade deleted off this or is it just hiding behind the Spey? Side note the 3904 has got to be the best of the Winchester Black Box knives. Never should’ve sold mine. Maybe I’ll pick up another some time
You called it right. The pen blade is hiding behind the Spey blade. Good luck on your search for your next 3904.

I can imagine having MLB so close is a treat!:cool::cool:
You're close to where the As are playing "home games" this season?

Yes, I’m in Sacramento and the A’s are playing in the Giants AAA park in West Sacramento. It’s close enough I’ve ridden my bike to a game. It’s been fun to see big leaguers in the small stadium. It feels kind of like spring training. We’ve gone to several games already.
Bart, maybe you could bond more with your livestock if you just went barefoot, like they do! ;)

In the time it took me to consider that idea I’ve started feeling good enough to tie my shoes 😁

God bless the families of those who have given all.

It's funny that she didn't try to eat anything especially the candy. I guess she's a hoarder.
Good thing she isn't into knives.
I'm carrying the knife in the pictures again today.
I would guess that the steel will prove superior, if you use it hard enough and long enough for the difference to show up.

A light combo for work yesterday:

Masoptier from Jolipapa and one of the two single bladed bassets I've seen. (The other is a combination sheepfoot and caplifter.)
Another switcheroo for church today:

Barlow from Tyson's giveaway.
