What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I was sitting here drinking my coffee, and I looked across the kitchen & saw something was written on the calendar for today. I thought uh-oh, does one of us have an appointment today that we forgot about? I went over to get a closer look, and saw that today's our anniversary. My wife put it on the calendar, because most times we both forget about it until sometime in July.:)

I hope it's been a joyful life together and you have many more years to come.

T-bone & Brian
We have given human names to some of our dogs over the years ~ Mike and Lester, Brittany Spaniels, and Zach, a magnificent German Shepherd Dog.
My wife's youngest brother, Brian, is one of those folks whose internal barometer builds and builds until he explodes over some unrelated little thing. And I am his favorite target.
One day a few years ago, out of nowhere, he exploded at us saying "why do you give your dogs people names? It's so stupid!"

Unfortunately, I have not been able to convince Vik that our next dog should be named Brian.
... Not one of those flashy, tactical monstrosities covered in bottle openers and egos.

Pretty good Mississippi Bro.
I laughed at that line.

Getting old together gracefully🤙
Happy Anniversity!

I wish we could say the same. It's 90F at noon. Going to hit 96 a little later, with a real feel of 107. More of the same tomorrow. Thank you, Willis Carrier, for inventing modern air conditioning!

The air conditioner is perfect for you. It draws moisture from the humid, wet, air. We, on the other hand, use a swamp cooler that puts moisture in the desert (High Desert in our case) dry air.
