Looks like the fog and low clouds will burn off soon. Let’s hope it stays that way for the fireworks tonight over the Bay. If not they always have lower level fireworks available but they aren’t the same. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday and the 4th a suitable pair.

Forgot to mention above that we had some really severe thunder storms roll through yesterday in the early evening - wind, lightning. the whole nine yards. I was really scared and "Abby" the Hoarder leapt onto my lap to protect me.

Happy 4th y’all!! Carrying Ole Red (sorry for the horrible picture) and watching the ‘Ohio Navy’ invade the lake! My son and I decided to trek out to one of the lesser traveled streams to search for some Lake Erie smallmouth that have run upstream. Low, clear water made the fish very spooky, but we each managed to catch a couple. I used an UL panfish rod for the fight and my son used a fly rod.
