From my prior research, you just epoxy them on. There are several sellers across the internet that make all sorts of scales for SAK from Micarta, to wood, to antler, some with or without the slots for toothpick and tweezers and such.

I figured so. I'd maybe use a glue easier to remove, though.

Thank you so much. It really is as beautiful as it is functional. Easily the equal of a GEC, probably better random jigging than GEC is capable of, IMHO.

Just goes to show that Case can still produce a knife with deep beautiful colored bone and gorgeous jigging; free of garish colors, shields and blade etches. But for some odd reason, they normally choose not to. LOL.

Well, today's my birthday. Eighty two (82) years old. Nothing planned for today but will go to dinner (supper in some parts of the country) Saturday night at Antonio's Italian Restaurant in town. My birthday present came in the mail yesterday- a Buck Slim Select 112 Ranger but I can't show it here as it has thumb studs and a clip so I'll show my latest Traditional - a Crimson Case Large Stockman and sing "Happy Birthday To Me" while posting this. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.
