Amazing costumes, and great job by the kids being all in on the characters! That's a beauty, Bob. Love the bolsters!
To be fair, it would seem a bit odd to carry that one on any day but Halloween.
Always thought those were interesting knives.
We had a rainy and cool Halloween here, but that wasn't going to keep the girls from trick-or-treating, so we were out around the neighborhood earlier. I had these two with me.

Although I'm realizing now that I should've pocketed my Mike Moran with the coffin shield for Halloween.

The girls had a great time. Here they are in their costumes. Eleanor was Wednesday Addams. (Don't worry, she wasn't pissed off, just in character. We'd even talked about it before I took the picture, and she was so convincing that I thought she still was mad about something.)

And Scout was Jack Black's character from the movie School of Rock. (Not ourJack Black of course, that other one.)

If you know me, you probably know that I enjoy putting together Halloween costumes for the kids (which is ironic, as you couldn't pay me to dress up for Halloween myself). Scout's School of Rock costume was a fun one to work on, and I think we got it pretty close.
