Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! A bit chilly but it will warm up as the sun rises over this side of the City. Just rest and relaxation today as I’m going in for minor surgery tomorrow morning. I’m too embarrassed to say exactly what it’s for so I’ll just say that it’s been a LONG time since I last had this done. Keeping me company today with a nod to Micarta Monday a,couple of beauties. Todays carry is my dad's Old Timer 8OT. I miss him so much. But having this knife of his brings back memories every time I pick it up. And the peanut is a great additional carry to the large stockman.

7Cr17MoV (very close to 440A) and "bone stag". The finish on this is top notch and the action is silky, smoother than some of my Case knives in fact.
