Yes sir and thank you !! Great photo and super knife !!That Opinel is lookin' good! Did you char the handle?
Super knife, Gevo. What is it, Primble?
Thanks man.
Thanks, Gary. You are missing out if you haven't heard this wonderful record!
Got off too late for a pic so I will use a old one.
For Stagurday, a Stidham's Knives cigar whittler, based on the Case pattern 91. The blade selection would make it a stockman, in my mind, but both Stidham and Case dub it a whittler. Maybe it's the blade location (2 opposite the main).

Nice x 2!!My trusty 14 with my trusty TLA100.
Saturday it's Cozido day at the Portuguese cantina (there's a lot more out of sight). Can't miss that!

That knife is simply Spectacular, Stuart !!!!!!!!!!!!
You're welcome! And it is a delight to use the Case Sowbelly! That food looks soooo good !!! I would join you in a heartbeat. Lovely sowbelly
The end to one of the most tragic and stressful weeks in my life...I had this #77 with me the whole time...it turned into a worry stone for me. My mother gave me the rooster stone....well because I have chickens...and it made me laugh.
Good to hear that it is turning around for the better. Thanks, it definitely has gotten better. My family and close family friends (pretty much family) are starting to see some of the "small wins."
Thank you, Betty ( the knife ) has turned it a favorite of mine.Char, steel wool, soak in oil. By the way, what a great looking knife you have!
My old eyes could barely make out the "P" in the tang stamp, I think I need new glasses. I could see the fine jigging just fine, though. Would you call it a sowbelly trapper ?Yes sir and thank you !! Great photo and super knife !!
Yes...the dreaded glasses...I'm fighting it with all my being. I'm already deaf. I think a sowbelly jack is a better tag ...it has a small clip blade. My old eyes could barely make out the "P" in the tang stamp, I think I need new glasses. I could see the fine jigging just fine, though. Would you call it a sowbelly trapper ?
Thanks for the complement, Gevo. I blame, and thank, all things Lambsfoot on Jack.
Love the Appaloosa! I got the stag, but still love the looks of the Appaloosa.I’m a good few pages behind, but I’ll look through when I get a chance...
My new #56 in Appaloosa for the last few days. Not sure if it’ll be a keeper or not yet. I didn’t get that ‘love-at-first-sight’ feeling I usually get with GEC. I’ll see if I warm to it.
That Cowboy is tremendous !! I need to get out a fixed blade to carryAlthough I will usually add another for pocket jewelry these two are with me all the time except when I'm at work. A Churchhill and the @Horsewright Cowboy can handle most any daily chore. Although with my new Stag 43 the Cowboy is going to have to share some time.View attachment 913182
