I have one of those. It takes an amazingly sharp edge.

A (new to me) 66 stockman in desert ironwood. Very nice grain on this one...dare I say chatoyance (reference back to when the palo santo TC was released);):)

Robin Olds is out there flying " outlaw ", his preferred mission. They take off whenever they want and try to intercept us while we are forming up. Klaas was one of the most experienced left in the squadron. He had been well briefed. He knew not to get into a high G turning fight with a P-51 in his ME-109. Scanning the cirrus with a keen eye, he was alert.

They were over Stuttgart at 27,000 feet. The weather wasn’t all that good. Broken clouds ranged in various decks right down to the ground, and off to the southeast a formidable front, like a gray wall, stretched away to the southwest.

Experience told him that's where he'd be waiting... for the kill. The hair stood up on his neck. He felt his pocket and looked at his watch...get some altitude...
