Masterful ....wow !
Thank you Gev.

Stunning stag, Dwight
Thank you Stuart.

In earlier years, when Howarth's were a slightly larger firm, they were based on the small street where my grandparents lived, and where my mother was born. This old wooden gate stands on the staircase at Wright's, where it originally seperated Howarth's from John Maleham's firm, J & M Tools
Lovely side note Jack. The history and related anecdotes are fascinating.

Sunday knife.

Beautiful Dean and I greatly enjoyed your seven days of redbone.

Nice Robeson’s!
Thanks Nick!

John & Dean, impressive rojo mojo! ;):thumbsup:

Harvey, your AC Lambsfoot looks delectable with that sandwich!:thumbsup::cool:

I think you're right that the mini muskrat is currently on hiatus. Am I right that the full-size muskrat and mini muskrat only differ by a quarter-inch in closed length (3 7/8" compared to 3 5/8")?

That smooth antique bone looks VERY good!!:thumbsup::thumbsup: Uniform color on both sides of your Barlow?

Yeah, the copperhead pattern is sort of a half-canoe, Dave!:thumbsup: I like the looks of a copperhead, but I got rid of a RR gunstock checkered copperhead because I didn't care much for the two big blades (sure like the handles though).

Thanks, JJ. :) I HAD to make up a schedule because randomly choosing knives for the week was taking way too much time!:(

Phenomenal pair! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, Jack. :) Your damascus stag is grand!:cool::thumbsup:

Couple of fine pics of a couple of classic knives, Jeff!:cool::cool:

Why does this not surprise me??? :p:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Cue the Twilight Zone music! ;):D:thumbsup:

You're an astute connoisseur of cutlery, Stuart. :)

Cool color combo, Steve, and what a whittler!!:thumbsup::cool:

Sunday Best, Vince!! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Intriguing pattern, Stuart!:thumbsup::cool: The current 6347 (with 3 blades) has 3 springs, I think. How many springs on that one?

Great photo of your stag Barlow on a fishing expedition, John!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

You lured me into expecting red bone Case knives, Dean, and this one was a shock!:cool::cool:

This knife arrived this week, and I've been carrying, but not using, it:

Lambarjack is looking fine. So we gonna make the name one word? ;)

Inspired by @JJ Cahill and Fodderwing Fodderwing , I’m toting a Robeson too
And a beauty it tis!

Hard to beat a lovely old Robeson Barlow!
I recently found another old TL-29 and thought about the knives a Hollywood gaffer would have carried in the "Golden Age" of movies. I came up with these three to tote from that great era:)
Ain't it so and that TL-29 reinforces the point. All three are lovely but I really like the wood on the Robeson.

Have a great week all. Swanworks, Ohligs A wonderful little knife with a vicious snap!IMG_3638.jpeg

Very nice, and unique. Is that factory, or modified?

Lots of cool people tote TL-29s!
And thanks for your kind comment about the one I modded.

Totin these today. View attachment 1153923

Of all the knives I don’t own, that may be my favorite!

Totin' these two today

Of all the knives I do own, the 43 may be my favorite:D
Nice Utica butter ‘n molasses!

I started out today copying your totes of 43 and 72 from yesterday, then remembered I have several trees to fell, and may need the screwdriver blade on a TL-29 to adjust the bar/chain tensioner on the chainsaw.

I like it a lot as well. Only thing that could be better is that the pull is pretty light. It want to close a little easier than I would like.

How is the pull on yours ?

Thank you, Dwight! That's a neat jack you have; I like natural bone. When you say 'vicious snap,' do you mean break your finger while cutting part of it off vicious? I have a Case sheepfoot that scares the snot out of me when I close it.

What ever the station of life that you've become
Whatever the weave that you've spun
In the name of the father
The name of the son
With the crack of the timber
And the sound of the end of the world fills your ears
May the angels protect you
When the last ship sails
