uma is another subenza model.

  • *** Sebenza:[11] production 1991–present. Folding knife, introducing a stronger variation of the Walker linerlock called the Sebenza Integral Lock, also commonly known as the framelock.[12] The Sebenza is a utility knife with titanium handles and was originally introduced with an ATS-34 stainless steel blade, followed by BG-42 and as of this writing, CPM S35VN steel.[6] The Sebenza comes in two sizes, with blade lengths of 75mm/2.94" (Small Sebenza) and 92mm/3.625" (Large Sebenza). There are currently 3 different models out, in chronological order they are the regular, classic, and current 21 model. The major difference is between the regular and classic/21 model. The regular has scalloping and a smaller lock bar access cut out. The classic is very similar to the 21 (being its predecessor), with the main difference being the classic stamp on the lock side of the knife as well as having a rounded lock bar. They offer inlays ranging from micarta to wood to even ivory on the classic and 21 models. Even though the regular has been discontinued for a few years, they still offer it annually with different inlays every year.
*** 1991-2018 . . . I used a calculator and came up with 27 years. Like I said earlier, I've taken a lot of shop classes, but along the way I learned to read a little and also stumbled on learning how to use a calculator :D

And Uma . . . I was trying to shorten for Umnumzaan, but siri changed the 3rd letter from N to A and omitted the period (.) following the forementioned N that came out as A!

I realize this is the general knife forum and not the Chris Reeve forum there are probably a lot of you out there that don't realize CRK has that other model too ;)

Are your questions some type of Blade Forums test? If so, what did I score on your tally?

And thanks for your congrats . . . its a tank of a knife!

I love the way all the little followers jump right in with their likes when one of "their boy" makes snide remarks.
I do so want to be a member of "the club" but from some of the comments in some of my threads they have shown me I can never be one of the boys . .

.1 I've never had my pickup repossessed.
.2 I've never kissed my Sister.
.3 And I've never left my Pitbull on a 3 feet chain tied to a pole in my back yard in zero degree weather.

But I do have a paid membership and have bought 8 knives over the past few weeks here . . . Two Sebenza's and a sweet Rike to name a few as I build my collection more towards custom knives. There also members here that are willing to take my money I guess.
And a few others that seem to enjoy being helpful to new members that want to learn more about a great hobby.

Guess I'll have to continue to go it alone . . .

Why do the haters even continue to read my threads??? You can always check off "unwatch this thread".
And if you see my "Brian" icon starting a thread or responding in a thread, just skip the thread. Even better put me on you ignore list!

Cheers

Wait...if his first definition is wrong, how is his second "true as well"?

I don’t know what I was thinking when I posted that. I do appreciate that you pointed out what was obviously a mis-(something related to grammar).
OP:
I would have posted a pic of my spyderco ti-mil, but all I see on mine are a uniform patina (is it called a patina on Ti?) and quite a few scratches. “Snail trails” aren’t straight lines, as the name implies, and they aren’t damage to the Ti itself, as “dings” or scratches are. My guess that they were caused by oil from the hands “protecting” the Ti from forming its natural passive oxidation layer(which prevents further corrosion, and thus isn’t really damage but a sign of use and/or exposure to oxygen in the air, is just a guess. Sorry for the run on sentence. Enjoy that sebenzetta! (Joking, Sebenza.)

Production Sebenzas may have started in 1991 but before there were production sebenzas he was making custom sebenzas for several years.

Also all the members here are aware of the other Chris Reeve models. Btw most people seem to shorten Umnumzaan as ‘Zaan.

Congrats on your new knife.

Beautiful quality.

FYI You might want to delete that incest accusation before a MOD sees it.

Bringing family into it and insulting family is frowned upon and can end in a ban under the right circumstances.

As for your paid membership; thats not a factor under the above mentioned circumstances.

When you get banned, you dont get a refund.

If you're trying to get respect, tolerance, or patience from anybody, be they member or moderator, these kind of comments are not the way to go about getting it. You may be trying (badly) to insult certain people, but you're only insulting yourself, and are likely alienating any who have been patient with you.

Some good suggestions towards the end of this thread..and my post will be the end of this thread.

First- Don't like a poster or his threads? If they violate a rule, report it..otherwise move on..chiclets are cheap.
Second- expidia1 expidia1 - Leave the insults at the door or take them to W&C. Either use the ignore or report the post if it merits reporting. Insulting ones family is an unwritten rule, but now you are aware.
Third- expidia1 expidia1 - Posting on a forum, you should know that there is always a counterpoint argument. Take it for what it is, learn from it or move on with the realization that either you were able to learn more or someone doesn't agree with you.
Post #50 of this thread by Planterz Planterz ..should explain alot..
