What's your Cold Steel EDC today?

Returned my Counter Point 1 and ordered a Large Voyager Clip Point. I am excited!
I think that was a good switch.

After carrying a 3.5 inch Civivi alternating with an Endura for the last couple of weeks, I picked up my Code 4 with xhp this morning and remembered what a great edc it is. I think I ll carry it for a while.

I had a Code 4 drop point. Great knife, loved the steel. Mine had S35VN. I just couldn't get along with the smooth scales. I still regret selling it though!

I don t like smooth handles either. On my Code 4 I put a strip of grip tape on each handle. Tht tape has stayed in place and the knife handles better now.
Generally, I don t prefer knives with metal handles. Including titanium, as well ss aluminum.

I wish I had tried that trick before selling the knife!

Today was a AK47 folder. This is my go to Cold Steel when abuse might be on the menu. My particular AK47 has a really stiff action that I have never managed to correct, so if I think I might need to do something silly with a folder this is the one I generally reach for. Other than that it has been fantastic.

Cool, thank you!
I’ve decided that between S35VN and AUS10 in Cold Steel, it’s hard to go wrong. The AUS10 seems to be tough as nails, and though it might not hold its edge as long, it is easy to bring back with little steel lost in the process. It has a lot to offer.
