What's your favorite EDC?

VG10 FRN Spyderco Calypso Jr. I keep trying other knives, but this one is near perfection and keeps finding its way back. (If it had G10 scales, I could not think of a better user).

The Calypso Jr always finds its way into one of my pockets - klattman, with you all the way on the G10 scales: Manix Jr.? - would be close to my EDC Perfection.

My Camillus Aftermath has been a constant companion since I first acquired it.

I am pleased, if a little surprised, that the prototype Mobius fixed blade I designed and made for myself has proven nearly as constant. I can't carry it quite as many places, but it generally stays on my belt when I'm not at work.

For the longest time, it's been my BM 705. Now I rotate between the 705 my new Mnandi and Small Sebenza.

BM 856. It is slim, light and narrow. Also sheeple friendly, in size at least but not the sharp point.

My EDC rotation:

- Spyderco Para-Military
- Kershaw Avalanche
- Benchmade 720

I can't say which one is my favourite, I think that all three of them are very good knives.

I have several excellent folders in my EDC rotation. The one knife which I always carry, however, is my Victorinox Swisschamp.

We all dote on our Sebenza/SnG/Microtech/Dozier etc., but how many of us pause to consider the humble SAK which always occupies a pocket somewhere?

No flash, no trumpets, no pizzazz; they just get the job done and vanish again. They're the SAS of the knife world!

I just got the 558 yesterday to replace the Calypso that I lost. All are/were great EDC's IMO.

I've gotten into the mega folder mode and my current favorite carry is a custom folder from DB Fraley, called the XL Deluge. I also rotate it with a BM 630....but the Deluge is my pick of the two.

For a folder either an old CRKT point guard or sometimes a VG-10 Delica, along with, more and more often, a CRK Shadow III. I hardly know it is there until it is needed.
