What's your newest Buck knife

These arrived about a week ago.

Saunter and Sprint.
Both carbon fiber.View attachment 2098217View attachment 2098215

The Saunter is pretty stiff. It reminds me of a modern 501....

I like Sprints.

Carbon Fiber is sorta cool how it changes in the light.
I’ve got two sprints, and the action on both is nicer than anything else I own. Easy and smooth to flip, but tight with no wobbles. They just nailed the sweet spot, and they’re great lookers. I like that Saunter, too - don’t think I’ve seen one before.

I keep hearing that about the sprints, I really need to pick one up.

You'll like the Sprint, I think.
Very comfortable, well made and they don't weigh anything.
Here's a size comparison pic if it helps any:

Vaporstang Vaporstang Really nice 531 you picked up. Congrats. One thing for sure she will come back quite the looker from the SPA. Only concern would be if they get a little happy with the sharpening and take a bit too much blade in the process.

matthewtstock matthewtstock Thanks! And agreed on possibly taking too much off of the blade, especially with a nick involved.
Maybe hand sharpen/correct the blade yourself and leave the rest to the SPA. A scotch-brite wheel on a bench grinder will restore a satin finish and take most, if not all, scratches off the blade. Polishing the handle and bolsters wouldn't be too hard either. The pivot/bolster on the marked side might be best to leave to the professionals. Hope to see it looking its best in the future. Dang nice knife.
