Nice!!I only have two Bucks. My newest acquisition is the 121 (1972-79) that arrived yesterday, and my 'newest' Buck in terms of age is the 1990 107. I was blown away to discover that the top one was discontinued - seems like a perfect knife for small to medium-sized fish.
I've always been a Schrade and Case guy, but these two are keepers. Now I'm looking at others in the fixed blade 100 series.

Beautiful knife. One of my favorite all time knife patterns. 921/923/925 skinners. Guessing yours is a 923. What is the total length?
Yes you are correct. A 921 is approx 7.5", 923 approx 9" and the 925 approx 10-1/4". They very a little since they are hand made and ground.
For size comparison you can see all 3 in the left lower corner or right lower as well.

Have you said "AARRGGGHHH" while holding it yet?Picked up a Kalinga Legacy from a Buck Dealer that still had them. It was on sale. This was from 2021 with S35V steel. My first and only Kalinga. Surprised about its heft. Very wicked looking knife.
Now I know who wanted it more than I did! However, I did come away with a like new in the box 122 stamped on the blade with black bucarta thick slab handles.
Ha! I can tell you it was not by that much more according to the bidsNow I know who wanted it more than I did! However, I did come away with a like new in the box 122 stamped on the blade with black bucarta thick slab handles.
Your winning bid was my 2nd max bid, you bid that amount first (nice score). Anyway, I see that another bidder bought a bunch of the knives from that auction and is making a killing on ebay (or trying too) at 2X to 3X what they cost them (Capitalism at its best). Here is the 122 I scored.Ha! I can tell you it was not by that much more according to the bids!
I don’t remember seeing that 122. Please post some pictures of that bad boy! I have always found them to be fascinating knives.
