What's your newest Buck knife

This little guy arrived today. Model 526 "Executive". Really simple and sleek, I like the feel of it. Too bad I don't know anyone with initials "J.A.R ", but it will make a neat watch pocket user. I might pick up a more pristine example for my collection.

ETA: Did Buck make other models in this same style? Maybe with a 501 blade?

Recycled picture below from the "how cold is it" thread, but I got a new 250 Saunter this week.

I've looked at this countless times over the past year or so, but finally pulled the trigger on a discontinued sale at Cutlery Shoppe.

Here it is with a couple other popular USA Made slipjoints (GEC #71 & Case Sodbuster Jr.). I little shorter blade, but similar size, especially to the Sodbuster Jr.

Unable to edit my previous post. Here are a few more pics:

The original(?) sheath was especially dirty:

Which is strange, because the knife shows very little signs of use. Just some light scratches on the blade. I gave the sheath a good soak and scrub, I'll add a photo when it dries.

I could not pass up the incredible price at DLT for a 105 Pathfinder Pro- ordered this morning. I love green micarta. Will post a photo when it arrives.
I had a regular 117 that I didn't use much and eventually resold, but the sale price on the 117 pro there is calling my name.

edit- I just realized that I had a $12 credit from a return or rewards or something a while ago, and what do you know... I'll have a 117 Pro probably at some point this coming week.

Thanks, guys, for posting this. Buck had the 117 Pro on sale on their website for around $125 (plus free shipping). I had just about talked myself into ordering one when they disappeared! I hadn't thought of checking other vendors, but after reading this I checked DLT and found the 117 Pro was in stock and even cheaper there! And with free shipping but who wants to wait, so I threw in $11 for FedEx two day.

So you were the one who bought that knife. I had been watching it for a few weeks and just never pulled the trigger. It has the J and R right for my name, but the wrong middle initial. Buck made a 521 that is the equivalent of the 525 with the 2.75" 501 blade and also the 522 which is the equivalent of your 526.

Sorry I beat you to it. I was (still am) looking for one without engraving, as I really like the look of the plain stainless. I saw one that was obviously done at home with a Dremel 🤣. Thanks for the info on models, I'll keep an eye out for a 521.

Went to the Dixie Deer Classic in Raleigh yesterday, one booth had a lady selling Buck Knives (and other brands) at reasonable prices. Got to handle a few discontinued knives (Small Buck Vantage - I've been wanting one but glad I handled it - too small for me). She had two of these Buck 112 LT in the case, I bought one - not bad for $24.75 (tax included). The blade is tang stamped 2018 while the packaging date on the box is 6-17-19 - she had all the knives in a display and pulled the box out from under the table when you bought one, assuming she mixed them up, but no matter to me. OH

Can’t go wrong for under $25, out the door! Lance

This still might be the correct box. I believe the tang stamp is when the blade blank was made. The box date will be when the knife was assembled.
