  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

When I love em, I give em Ironwood (BK62 content)

trade is back!! Hey Al, what did you use to finish it up? great job on those scales, nice figuring!

Thank You,
I used 80, 120, 220, 400 grits then some white compound on a leather strip.
I used white because thats all I had, there’s probably some better stuff but Im still learning. Then I dipped it in boiled linseed oil. Then after 20 minutes I wiped it dry. And then I hit it with the leather and compound one more time. All by hand no machines on the grits or polish. I did use a 80 grit belt on my kalamazoo to shape it though.
If anyone knows a better compound please let me know.
