Which CPK are you carrying today?

The funny part about that clip is that the fight starts over the comment about the beer sucking.

I used to go crazy during my travels across the provinces for pleasure or work or both...while I enjoyed several of the Canadian brews, the locals all liked to drink Bud. I have to say, that really took me aback as an avowed Bud hater. (I can even remember guys who would bring it back with them to Canada back in the day. Sigh.)

Craft beer aside, I always thought Canadian beer far superior to the standard big brand labels down here.

My dad always brought a case of labatts back whenever he'd go fishing in Canada even though you could buy in stateside. Said it was brewed different and far superior/tastier than the labatts you can get down here. Sure thing, pops. 😁

This checks out.
I never knew Canadians to drink Bud. It was Labatts Blue by a huge margin. (Extra Old Stock when we were teenagers for the extra percent of alcohol).

Labatt 50 Ale for the win. Moosehead. Brador. Molson Golden. I can't even remember half of 'em anymore. I once knew 'em all.

And trust me, I kid you not on the Bud. This was in the 70's thru 90's when I was up there more for work or canoeing, backpacking or traveling cross country.

It was a thing.

I believe you. Every province was different. In MB it was Labatts.

Molson Brador was my favorite, but Molson Golden was always good.

We had a cabin on the St. Lawrence River on the Canadian side of the 1000 islands when I was growing up.

Much Canadian beer was consumed, along with lots of duty-free liquor!
Brador was one of my earliest experiences with "strong" beer.

I don't. With my frame, I find the knife tends to stick out more than with vertical carry, even with small edc knives.
I carry pretty much any fixed blade under 6ā€ horizontal at 10-11 o’clock as it is easier to access while doing so many things, and accessible with either hand. I have carried this way for more than 25 years and it just seems right to me. Comfortable and out of the way while driving/walking/riding wheelers/operating dozer/cutting trees, etc.

When carrying a pack or wearing waders or bibs, the same sheaths are worn on left straps tip up. Larger knives I wear cross-draw or vertical on hip.

True ā€˜scout carry’ in the back looks cool and convenient for other than driving (or being in a crowd), but trying to re-sheath it is unappealing to me.

I'm scared of true scout carry because I honestly know I would stab my ass cheek re sheathing

I usually run pants and shorts with deep pockets, that's my norm carry
I can't believe you'd do you like that...
