Accompanying me today, heading out for a walk shortly. Hoping to snag a shot of one of the Great Blue Herons hanging out in the riparian area. Seen them one at a time, multiple times, but haven't been able to snag an image yet.

Good lookin' knife. Is that a 400mm or 500mm lens? Did you get pics?

100-400 with a 1.4x TC, no Heron pics. Medicore shots of an immature male Vermilion Flycatcher and a couple red-eared sliders (turtles). At least the 2.5 miles counts as a little daily-ish exercise.

Still hanging with my favorite Case 6332, been opening the pool for the summer, busy with getting all the chemicals added last couple of days. Shock yesterday, salt this morning, more to come over the next few days. OH
