Ok, I know Windlass' reputation, so that is not what I'm asking about.;) I recently bought their sword from "A Knight's Tale" as a wallhanger since I found a really good deal on it ($30.00 at eknifeworks.com ). I think it is good for what I paid, but I was wondering if this is typical for a Windlass sword. The handle is fine but the blade is very thin and wobbles like a Tai Chi sword and is dull. This is ok for what I bought it for, but are Windlass' european swords normally like this?

I would say that is probably not common even for windlass swords. The ones I have handled have had problems but they have not been that poor. Rumor even is that their products have definitely improved of late so it may be that once again we may start seeing good stuff come out of MRL.
