Hi. I just got a brand new Victorinox WorkChamp. I noticed that the big Philips screwdriver doesn't snap in when I close it, like the other tools do. Instead, I have to push it all the way inside its slot. Is that normal?
Thank you!
Does the same happen for the small Philips? On my WorkCamp, the small Philips under the scissors snaps in perfectly. Only the one under the pliar doesn't...

As far as I know it's always been like this.
I have one of the earlier Victorinox WorkChamps (when they did not yet have the small Phillips) and the regular large Phillips works that way -
otherwise it would be difficult if not impossible to extract the tool with the small leverage offered by that right-angled protrusion.

right.....
that's why every single tool on a Leatherman snaps right back into place
and on old Leathermans they all want to follow each other out (clumping),
and it requires the opening of another tool to unlock and close one......... :barf:
Cougar, this thread looks like it was posted in two forums, maybe to see if different forums would evoke different answers. So, after the forum move, now there are two threads of the same title, in this same forum.
Maybe posting the same question in two separate forums isn't such a bad idea? I know that it probably isn't the best "netiquette," but there may be folks that hang out in one forum that never set foot anywhere else, and would therefore miss this thread?
