Just got a knife back from JT. The blade looks great except it has bluish brownish marks around the knifes edge. I assume this was caused by how thin the material was when I sent it out. Does this color indicate a problem or am I fine to just grind it off. The blade material I am using is s90v and it was hardened to 63rc. The area seemed plenty hard and a file skated along, im just asking as I don't have a lot of experience with heat treatment. Hope the picture is viewable, tried my best.

Yes, the heat treat should be fine.
My only suggestion is to clean up the profile a bit more and drill any holes you need before it gets hardened.

I problem I’ve had blades come back from Bos heat treating like that.
