I bought this a few months ago from the listing as below. Due to the economy I must sell it. No trades, please.

A vintage early 70's Randall Made Knives Model 12-13 Raymond Thorp bowie. This is the biggest knife they make.

13" x .250" O1 steel blade.
Nickel Silver Forward Curved Crossguard.
Scalloped Brass Collar.
Black Micarta Commando grip.
Scalloped Brass Coolie Hat pommel.
Original Johnson Rough Back sheath with salmon stone + New "No-Hone" sheath, also with a loose salmon stone.

Shipped in 19" Randall Made Knives zippered case.

Used condition, I just got it back from Randall after sending it to them for some freshening up. Edge and clip are sharp. They buffed out a dent on the pommel and some dings on the lower tip of the crossguard, which you can see in the photo. There are also two small areas of carbon spotting on the blade which is emphasized in a photo.

Also had them send a new "No-Hone" sheath along with it, as a spare to the original sheath. The JRB sheath does have a few marks on it, nothing major. The top end of the new sheath is a little dark, should even out eventually.

I'm not going to mess around, this set-up with the options and spare sheath would cost $900+ from Randall, plus the 54 month wait.

You want it now? *$850.00 firm.* This includes USPS Priority shipping with delivery confirmation + PayPal fees.

Bump adding two new items included in the sale without increasing the price.

Original July, 1964 issue of Frontier Times Magazine, with article by Raymond Thorpe entitled "The King and I and the Bowie Knife" wherein Thorpe recounts the gifting of this and another model to King Faisal II of Iraq.
