I bought one of the paring knives for my Mother-in-Law for her birthday, but I haven't gotten a chance to use it yet. I really liked the look of it: integral bolsters, non-pointy tip, ergonomic handle. After I bought it I found out that they are using a ceramic coating to help with durability and food release. I thought that was a pretty cool feature.
Are any other manufacturers using ceramic coatings?
