ww 2 knife need help

undefined hi am new here am looking for somebody to help me with this knife...i found it many many years ago buried in a field, with just the handle sticking up, after cleaning it i found it engraved with Philippines 1945 it has a wooden handle with it looks like a thumb grip and brass pummell, its appox 9-12 inches long, can anybody tell me more about it and it value...anybody can write me at my e-mail russell_little_wolf@yahoo.com please when writing mention ww2 knife, i look forward to anybodys suggestions...thank you in advance
 
Welcome to the forums.

It sounds like a Philippines victory knife. These were made during the war and privately sold to US soldiers as souvenirs of the conflict. A picture would help.
