I got two samurai swords from my dad who was among the first to land in Japan where they occupied an arsenal. He brought them from there. Questions are does anyone know value? They are mint in scabbards, just like he grabbed them 76 years ago. Secondly, if I sell, how can they be shipped?

I wouldn’t, except I’m 76 and have no heir that wants them. I’d rather sell than die with them, because there’s no use for them then except someone scoring them at estate sale.
That makes sense. I wish you the best in selling them to someone that will take care of them.

can you post pics? We’d love to see the sword.
