Saturday, the first of 4 walked the big stage. She is the oldest daughter and has been a trial, but worth every worry. Degree in mass communications with a minor in political science. Found out Monday that she landed an internship with a possibility of a full time position. Starts next Monday. I am wondering what the grace period is before we hand over all her bills.

That is fantastic. I know how hard it is. I am 42, got a BS degree in 93. Yes, it took me 10 yrs. to do this. I have many friends who never stuck it out and even today, they tell me that I was wise to finish. It has helped my career as well. Once again congrats that your child has done it. I share your joy, even though I do not know you!

Personally I'd say 3ish months after she gets a paying gig, but not all at once. Maybe half one month and half the next or some such.
