I will be working on a small hand crank charcoal burner for guards and other small projects in a month or two. Soon I will be writing an article on using small hand crank blowers with ground forges.
 
Tim, you like to keep those mental gears rolling don't you! I know you have mine spinning. I'm trying to complete my propane mini-forge but have always wanted to try charcoal for blade forging. You may make a neo-tribalist out of me yet (more likely a strange hybrid!)-Guy Thomas
 
I'm obsessed. I just can't think of anything else I would rather do. Except fishing. And that's a long drive away.
